BCCC Men's Basketball Tryouts: Step Forward and Claim Your Place

student-athlete

Every athlete searching for a new challenge finds a moment when preparation meets opportunity. Baltimore City Community College opens its doors to those who want more than just a spot on the roster. The men’s basketball tryouts will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from noon until 2 PM at the Physical Education Building, located at 2901 Liberty Heights Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland.

Coaches at BCCC look for players who bring grit, discipline, and a hunger to improve. This program rewards effort and commitment. Those who step onto the court here do so with the intention of building something lasting, both for themselves and for their team.

Who Should Attend?

The tryouts welcome several groups:

  • Graduates from high school in 2025

  • Post-graduate athletes seeking a new path

  • Prep school competitors ready for the next level

  • College transfers aiming for a fresh start

Some arrive straight from high school, eager to prove themselves. Others come after time spent at another college or prep school, looking for a better fit. Each player brings a unique story, but all share the same goal—to wear BCCC across the chest and represent Baltimore with pride.

What to Bring on Tryout Day

Preparation sets apart those who succeed. Every participant must arrive with the following:

  • Proof of a physical examination completed within the past year

  • A signed liability waiver before stepping onto the court

  • Current transcripts and a release form if transferring from another college or university

No exceptions are made for missing paperwork. Athletes without the required documents will observe from the sidelines. Those who come prepared show respect for the process and for their own ambitions.
